The traveller sets the price. The commission is transparent.
There is no rate card at Yadony, because we are not the ones doing the carrying. The price per kilo is the one the traveller advertises. The only thing we deduct is a service commission — 5% at the time of writing, always shown before you confirm. In the event of a refund, it is never kept.
| Price asked by the traveller | €60.00 |
|---|---|
| Yadony commission (current rate: 5%) | €3.00 |
| Total paid by the sender | €60.00 |
| Paid to the traveller after delivery | €57.00 |
The declared value of a parcel is capped at €500. That is the reference amount used to settle a dispute; insurance for the parcel is not included in the commission.
The same parcel with a conventional carrier
Five kilos Paris → Dakar start at around €150 with an international carrier, before any express options, and delivery does not reach every neighbourhood. We do not claim to replace them: for a bulky, urgent or high-value shipment, they remain the right choice. For a few kilos that someone close to you is waiting for, the price question no longer looks the same.
The rest happens in the app
Posting a parcel, comparing travellers, scanning, tracking, paying: it is all in there. This site exists only to explain how it works before you download it.
