Send a parcel from Lyon to Douala
Students, young professionals, families settled between Lyon and Villeurbanne: Lyon's Cameroonian community often has something to get back home. To send a parcel from Lyon to Douala, Yadony puts you in touch with verified travellers who have room in their luggage.

How it works
Post your parcel with its weight, its contents and the name of the person collecting it in Douala. Travellers making the trip send you their price; you can also browse their listings and book directly. The handover takes place in person in the Lyon area, with a QR code scan and a photo.
What it costs
There is no single rate: each traveller sets a price per kilo based on their baggage allowance and ticket, and some accept price offers. Compare several listings before choosing. The service fee is always shown before payment, never sprung on you afterwards.
How long it takes
Expect a stopover between Lyon and Douala in most cases, in Paris or another hub airport: the journey often takes 10 to 16 hours. If no traveller is leaving Lyon on your dates, widen the search to departures from Paris. Either way, the arrival date is the traveller's flight date, visible before you book.
Tracking and safety
The parcel moves through stages you can follow in real time: handed over to the traveller, in flight, arrived in Douala, delivered. Every scan is time-stamped and geotagged. Your payment (card, mobile money such as MTN or Orange Money, or wallet) stays held until handover, confirmed by your recipient's 6-digit collection code.
Frequently asked questions about this corridor
Why use a traveller rather than a courier?
For a few kilos, it is often quicker: the parcel travels with the traveller instead of waiting for a consolidated shipment to leave. You know who is carrying it, their identity has been verified, and they are only paid once the parcel has been delivered.
Does my recipient in Douala need to create an account?
No. You share the tracking link with them, over WhatsApp for example: the page opens in a browser, with no account or app required. On the day of the handover, they give the traveller the 6-digit code you passed on to them.
What should I do if the parcel arrives damaged?
Report it in the app: you have 15 days to open a dispute. The traveller's payout is suspended, the Yadony team reviews the handover photos, the scans and your messages, then reaches a decision within 72 business hours.
